About The Owner
Hello my name is Jamie - Creator and owner of Mae Raighn
After working for a company for 14 years I decided I needed a change! I needed to be doing something I was passionate about, But I wasn't really sure what….. Then I saw a video of a refill store and I knew this is what I wanted to be doing. In May of 2022 I opened the doors to Mae Raighn Refill & Market. I loved being able to offer my community sustainable options, But I quickly realized that having a brick and mortar might not be the end of my journey, Just a stop along my path. In August 2023 I closed the doors to the store and launched my online platform. I also decided to focus more on building my own brand of Mae Raighn. In finding my footing on how I was going to navigate this transition I became friends with Tonya from Tomfillery, We quickly realized that we complemented each other well in friendship and in business! I currently work out of her store creating my product line and helping her with some creative aspects of the business. So you can find me there most days!
I have lived in Dutchess county, NY my entire life and it is where I currently live with my family. I have 4 daughters and 2 bonus kids and none of this would be possible without the support, love and encouragement of my best friend, my partner Ray.
